Initial Visits

Most breastfeeding issues can be resolved with a couple  visits, adherence to the care plan we create together, and a little time!

During an initial (first) visit, I’ll spend about an hour to an hour and a half working with you and your baby, identifying and assisting with your breastfeeding concerns and goals, while providing you up-to-date information and recommendations. I am available by text or email a few days later for updates on how things are improving and if you have any questions related to the visit topic.

Payment is due at the time of service if your insurance isn’t one we can bill – you may prepay via cash, check or credit card/HSA card. I’ll provide you with a superbill for insurance reimbursement.

The map shows the areas in which I am available for home visits, excluding central and north Nashville. Mainly anything within 45 minutes of Eagleville, TN or Chapel Hill, TN.

**All visits in the Murfreesboro and surrounding areas are scheduled at our office location at the Lactation Room in the Mothers’ Milk Bank of TN – 2909 Old Fort Parkway, Murfreesboro.

Lifestyle Medicine Visit

Our choices have a much larger impact on our health outcomes than we’d ever imagined. We can use even the most basic choices (such as how much we sleep!) to have an enormous impact on our overall health. Begin the discussion of the Lifestyle Medicine pillars of health, which include a whole plant-based diet, physical activity, restorative sleep, positive social interactions/stress management, and avoidance of risky substances.

Gestational diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep issues and more are common concerns during pregnancy and lactation that can be addressed via lifestyle changes.

All visits are virtual and may be covered under your insurance.
